From Second North Highway：
Exit at Tucheng exit and drive toward DaAn road. Turn right on Yajhou road. Proceed forward and turn left onto Chenglin Bridge. Turn left on ChungHwa road. Turn right and pass Pateh Road underground Vehicle Tunnel. Drive straight toward the DaAn road. Turn left onto the Bridge. Turn right on Beinei Street and proceed until you see the road sign for “Putuo Mountain”. Follow the sign and turn left going uphill. Keep straight to the main entrance of Putuo Temple.
From Chungshan Highway (Freeway No. 1):
Exit at Lin-Ko Exit and drive toward Cingshan road. Proceed forward and turn right on Jhongjheng road (Sinjhaung City). Proceed forward and turn left on Chungshan Road (Shulin City). Going forward and make a right turn on Sanduo road. Keep straight and pass Paoan Street. Turn right on DaAn road and turn left onto the Bridge. Turn right on Beinei Street and going straight until you see the road sign for “Putuo Mountain”. Follow the sign and turn left going uphill. Keep straight to the main entrance of Putuo Temple By Train：
Get off the train at Shulin Train Station, and take a taxi to Putuoshan Temple. A ride from Shulin Train Station to Putuoshan Temple is approximately 10-15 minutes and the fare is about NTD$120. By Bus：
Take Zhinan Bus line – 883 Dan Hai to Shulin and get off at Beinei Street stop. Walking from the bus stop to Putuoshan Temple is about 20 minutes.
